The Little Kite that Could

On a bright and breezy afternoon, many colorful kites filled the sky. They danced and twirled happily as the wind carried them high above the trees.

Down on the ground, there was a small little kite. It wanted so badly to fly like the others. With excitement, it tried to rise into the air. But each time the wind blew strongly, the little kite wobbled and fell back down.

The bigger kites laughed and said,
“Ha-ha! You are too small to fly high. Stay on the ground where you belong!”

The little kite felt sad for a moment, but then it whispered to itself,
“I will try again. I won’t give up.”

The next day, the little kite tried once more. It rose a little higher than before—but again, it fell. Still, it did not stop. With each new attempt, the little kite learned how to balance better, how to ride the wind, and how to keep steady.

Finally, on one very windy afternoon, the little kite took a deep breath and soared into the sky. Up, up, up it went—higher and higher—until it flew above all the big kites that once laughed at it.

All the children below clapped and cheered. The little kite had proved that even the smallest could achieve great heights with courage and effort.

Moral of the Story:
Never give up. Small efforts, made again and again, lead to big success.
