Story: Lily Learns to Share

(A Motivational Story for Kids)

Lily was a sweet little girl who loved her toys more than anything else. She had dolls, blocks, puzzles, and even a shiny red ball. But there was one problem—Lily never liked to share.

Whenever her friends came over to play, Lily would say,
“No! These are mine! You can’t touch them!”

One sunny afternoon, Lily’s friend Mia came to visit. Mia didn’t have many toys, so she was very excited. But when she reached for Lily’s favorite doll, Lily quickly grabbed it and hid it behind her back.

Mia felt sad and said softly,
“Okay… I’ll just sit and watch.”

After a while, Lily realized Mia was not smiling anymore. She looked around the room filled with toys and thought,
“I have so many toys, but my best friend looks unhappy. Is this fun?”

Then Lily remembered what her teacher said:
“Sharing brings double the joy!”

Lily picked up the shiny red ball and said,
“Mia, let’s play catch together!”

Mia’s eyes sparkled with happiness. Soon, the room was filled with laughter and giggles. They played with dolls, blocks, and puzzles together, and it was the best day ever!

That night, Lily hugged her mom and said,
“Mom, I learned something today—sharing makes everything more fun!”

Moral of the Story:

Sharing is caring! When you share, you make others happy—and you feel happier too.
