Ellie the Brave Elephant
Kids Stories: Once upon a time, in a lush green jungle, there lived a young elephant named Ellie. Ellie was kind, playful, and had a curious mind. She loved exploring the jungle, but there was one thing she was scared of—crossing the Big River.
Every day, Ellie watched other animals crossing the river to reach a meadow filled with the juiciest fruits and prettiest flowers. “If only I could be brave,” Ellie sighed.
One bright morning, Ellie’s friends—Zippy the monkey, Bella the rabbit, and Leo the parrot—gathered near the riverbank. Bella squeaked, “Ellie, come with us to the meadow today! You’ll love it!”
Ellie nervously shook her head. “I’m too afraid of the river. What if I fall in?”
Zippy grinned and swung from a tree branch. “Don’t worry, Ellie! We’ll help you!”
With her friends by her side, Ellie took her first brave step into the shallow water. She felt the cool splash on her big feet. Leo flew above her, calling out, “You’re doing great, Ellie! Just a few more steps!”
Suddenly, Ellie saw a little turtle stuck between two rocks in the middle of the river. “Oh no! That poor turtle needs help!” Ellie exclaimed.
Without thinking, Ellie trumpeted loudly, mustered her courage, and used her strong trunk to gently lift the turtle to safety. The little turtle looked up and said, “Thank you, Ellie! You’re so brave!”
Ellie’s friends cheered! “See, Ellie? You’re braver than you think!” said Bella.
Ellie beamed with pride and walked confidently across the river. When they reached the meadow, Ellie laughed and played with her friends, munching on sweet mangoes and dancing in the flowers.
From that day on, Ellie was no longer afraid of the Big River. She had learned that with friends and kindness, she could overcome anything.
The End.
Moral of the Story: Courage grows when we help others and trust our friends!
