A Soft Bedtime Story for Children
High above the night sky lived a tiny star named Tinkle.
Tinkle was the smallest star but the brightest of all.
Every night, Tinkle loved shining for children on Earth.
But one evening, a fluffy little cloud came floating by and said,
“Hello, little star. You look tired. Why are you still awake?”
Tinkle smiled gently,
“I stay awake so children feel safe while they sleep.”
The little cloud felt moved.
So, Cloud wrapped himself around Tinkle like a soft blanket and said,
“Tonight, I will guard the sky. You rest.”
Tinkle slowly closed his eyes…
His light became softer…
Softer…
Softer…
But something magical happened.
Even though Tinkle was sleeping, a tiny glow peeked through the cloud.
Down on Earth, a little girl looked out the window.
She saw the soft glow and whispered:
“Goodnight, little star. I know you’re there.”
Tinkle heard it in his dreams and smiled.
He learned something important:
“Even small stars still shine…
even when they rest.”
