Rocky was very proud of how fast he could run. Every day, he would race around the forest and laugh at the other animals.

Timmy smiled calmly and said,

The Big Race
The next morning, all the animals gathered to watch.
“Ready… Set… GO!” shouted the fox.
Rocky ran very fast and quickly went far ahead. He looked back and saw Timmy slowly walking.
“This is too easy,” Rocky said. “I can take a nap and still win!”
So, Rocky lay down under a tree and soon fell asleep.
Meanwhile, Timmy kept walking… step by step… without stopping.
“I may be slow,” Timmy said, “but I will not give up.”

After some time, Rocky woke up suddenly.
“Oh no! The race!” he shouted.
He ran as fast as he could—but when he reached the finish line…
Timmy was already there!
All the animals cheered,
“Timmy wins! Timmy wins!”

“I lost because I was too proud and careless.”
Timmy smiled and said kindly,
“It’s okay, Rocky. We all learn from our mistakes.”
