Bedtime Story for Kids – The Little Kite’s Big Dream
High up in the attic of a small house, a little kite named Kiko lay forgotten in a dusty corner. Kiko had bright red and yellow colors, but no one had flown him in a very long time. He dreamed of soaring high in the sky, dancing with the wind, and touching the fluffy white clouds.
One day, a little boy named Sam found Kiko while cleaning the attic. “Wow! A kite!” he exclaimed. He dusted Kiko off and took him outside. Kiko was excited but also nervous. “What if I can’t fly? What if the wind is too strong?” he worried.
Sam ran across the field, holding Kiko by the string. “Come on, Kiko! You can do it!” he cheered. Kiko felt a gentle tug as the wind lifted him slightly. But suddenly, a strong gust blew him sideways, and he wobbled. “I can’t do it!” Kiko thought. But Sam didn’t give up. “Try again, Kiko! Believe in yourself!” he encouraged.
Kiko took a deep breath and decided to be brave. He spread his wings wide and let the wind carry him. Higher and higher he went, soaring above the trees. He saw the whole town below, children playing, birds flying, and the golden sun shining brightly. “I’m flying! I’m really flying!” Kiko cheered.
From that day on, Kiko never doubted himself again. He had learned that believing in yourself and trying again, even when you fail, can help you achieve your dreams.
Moral of the Story: Believe in yourself, and never be afraid to try again!
