Bedtime Story for Kids—The Little Elephant’s Big Dream

Bedtime Story for kids – The Little Elephant’s Big Dream: In a lush green jungle, there lived a little elephant named Elmo. He was small compared to the other elephants, but he had the biggest dreams. While the older elephants were happy munching on leaves and splashing in the river, Elmo dreamed of touching the sky.

“I want to reach the clouds!” he told his best friend, Mia the monkey.

Mia giggled. “Elephants can’t fly, silly!”

But Elmo didn’t give up. He watched the birds soar and the butterflies flutter, wondering how he could get up there. One day, he saw a group of colorful balloons tied to a tree by some travelers. An idea popped into his head!

With Mia’s help, Elmo gently tied the balloons around his back. Slowly, he felt lighter and lighter until—whoosh!—his feet lifted off the ground! He floated above the trees, his ears flapping with excitement.

“Oh, Mia! I’m flying!” Elmo cheered.

The jungle animals looked up in surprise. Even the wise old owl blinked in amazement. But suddenly, the wind blew stronger, and one by one, the balloons popped!

“Uh-oh!” Elmo cried as he slowly drifted back down. Luckily, he landed in the soft, squishy mud near the river.

Mia swung down from the trees, laughing. “That was amazing, Elmo! You really touched the sky!”

Elmo beamed. Even though he didn’t stay up for long, he had followed his dream. And from that day on, he was known as the little elephant who dared to fly.

The End.
