Bedtime Story Milo the Monkey’s Mango Mystery

Bedtime Story

Deep in the heart of the jungle, there lived a playful little monkey named Milo. He loved swinging from tree to tree, playing with his friends, and—most of all—eating delicious, juicy mangoes.

One evening, as the sun was setting, Milo ran to his favorite mango tree. But when he got there, he gasped in shock. All the mangoes were gone!

“Where did they go?” Milo wondered.

Determined to solve the mystery, he decided to investigate. He spotted some tiny footprints in the soft jungle ground. “Hmm… these don’t look like monkey footprints,” he thought.

Milo followed the footprints until he found his friend, Tilly the Toucan.

“Tilly, did you see who took the mangoes?” Milo asked.

Tilly flapped her colorful wings. “I saw someone with a bushy tail running toward the river,” she said.

“Aha!” Milo exclaimed. “Let’s go!”

Milo and Tilly followed the footprints to the riverbank, where they found Benny the Squirrel nibbling on a mango.

“Benny! You took all the mangoes?” Milo asked.

Benny’s eyes widened. “Oh no! I didn’t take all of them. I only took a few. The rest rolled into the river!”

Milo peeked into the river and saw the golden mangoes floating away. Plop! Plop! One by one, they disappeared downstream.

Milo sighed but then smiled. “At least some jungle animals will get a sweet treat today!”

From that day on, Milo decided to share his mangoes with his friends. And so, every evening, the jungle animals gathered under the mango tree, enjoying the fruit together, laughing and playing before bedtime.

The End.
