Moral Story: The Clever Rabbit and the Greedy Lion
In a vast jungle, a fierce lion lived. Every day, it hunted and ate one animal. The terrified jungle animals gathered for a meeting and decided that each day, one animal would voluntarily go to the lion to prevent unnecessary bloodshed.
One day, it was a small rabbit’s turn to go to the lion. But this rabbit was very clever. It deliberately delayed its arrival, making the lion even angrier.
🦁 Lion (roaring): “Why are you so late? I am starving!”
🐰 Rabbit (pretending to be scared): “Your Majesty! On my way here, another lion stopped me. It said, ‘I am the true king of this jungle, not you!’”
Hearing this, the lion became furious.
🦁 Lion: “Where is that lion? Take me to it at once!”
The rabbit led the lion to an old deep well.
🐰 Rabbit: “Here! It is inside!”
The lion peered into the well and saw its own reflection in the water. It thought there was another lion inside.
🦁 Lion (roaring): “I am the only king of this jungle!”
In a fit of rage, the lion jumped into the well to fight its “enemy.”
💦 Splash!
The lion fell into the deep well. No matter how much it roared and struggled, it couldn’t escape. Eventually, it drowned.
The jungle animals rejoiced and thanked the clever rabbit for saving them.
