Bedtime Stories for Kids – The Lost Feather

Story:

Bedtime Stories for Kids: In a quiet forest at dusk, a cheerful bluebird named Bella discovers that one of her special feathers is missing! It was her brightest, softest feather, and she loved it dearly. Feeling a bit sad, she chirps softly, “Oh no, where could it have gone?”

As Bella wonders where her feather might be, her friend, Sammy the squirrel, scurries over. “Don’t worry, Bella,” Sammy says with a grin. “We’ll find your feather! Let’s search the forest together!”

So, the two friends set off on a gentle adventure through the woods. Along the way, they ask each forest friend they meet. They ask a wise old owl perched high in a tree, a family of chipmunks near a patch of sunflowers, and even a little turtle resting by the pond.

Each animal listens to their tale and gives them a clue. The wise owl hoots, “Check near the berry bushes!” The chipmunks chirp, “Look by the acorn tree!” And the turtle adds, “Sometimes, the wind carries things to the big rock.”

Bella and Sammy visit each spot, discovering tiny surprises, like acorns, dewdrops, and little flowers—but still no feather. Finally, at the end of their search, they reach a cozy nest woven with soft leaves and twigs, nestled by the big rock. Inside the nest, glowing softly in the moonlight, is Bella’s special feather!

“Oh, thank you, Sammy!” Bella chirps, happy to have her feather back. Sammy chuckles, “Anytime, friend. Adventures are always best together.”

With Bella’s feather safely tucked back in place, the two friends rest under the stars, dreaming of their next adventure.
