Bedtime Story for Kids: The Tree and the Kite
Bedtime Story for Kids: Once upon a time, there were two best friends named Raju and Kiran. They lived in a small village surrounded by lush green fields. Raju loved flying kites, and Kiran enjoyed climbing trees. They spent every evening together, laughing and exploring their favorite spots.
One windy day, Raju brought his new kite, excited to see it soar high in the sky. “Today, my kite will touch the clouds!” he said.
But as Raju started flying the kite, a strong gust of wind blew it far away, and it got stuck in the tallest tree in the village. Raju was heartbroken.
Kiran said, “Don’t worry, Raju. I can climb the tree and get your kite back!”
Raju hesitated. “But it’s too high! You might fall.”

Kiran smiled. “We’re friends, and friends help each other. I’ll be careful.”
With determination, Kiran climbed the tree, slowly but steadily, and retrieved the kite. Raju was overjoyed and said, “You’re the best friend ever! Without you, I’d never get my kite back.”
Kiran replied, “And without your trust in me, I wouldn’t have tried.”
Moral: True friendship is about helping each other, trusting one another, and being there in times of need.
