Bedtime Story: Fun with the Forest Friends
Deep in the heart of the magical Whispering Woods, a group of animal friends loved to play together every evening before bedtime. There was Benny the bouncing bunny, Tilly the talkative turtle, Max the merry monkey, and Ollie the wise old owl.
One evening, as the golden sun began to set, the friends gathered in their favorite clearing. “Let’s play a game before bedtime!” chirped Benny, his little paws twitching with excitement.
“How about a game of hide and seek?” suggested Max, swinging from a low branch.
“Great idea!” said Tilly. “But remember, I’m not the fastest at hiding!”
Ollie, who always liked to make things fair, offered to be the seeker first. “I’ll count to ten while you all hide! One… Two… Three…”
The animals scattered. Benny hopped behind a big bush, Max climbed high up a tree, and Tilly slowly crawled behind a log.

“Ready or not, here I come!” hooted Ollie as he flapped his wings and started searching. With his sharp eyes, he spotted Max’s tail peeking from the tree. “Found you, Max!”
Then he heard a tiny giggle from behind the bush. “Benny, I see your fluffy ears!”
Finally, he walked over to the log and smiled. “Tilly, that was a great hiding spot!”
The friends laughed and cheered. “Let’s play again tomorrow!” said Benny as he stretched and yawned.
“Yes, but now it’s bedtime,” Ollie reminded them. “The stars are twinkling, and the moon is high.”
The friends snuggled up together under the big oak tree, listening to Ollie’s gentle bedtime story about the twinkling stars above. One by one, they closed their eyes, dreaming of more fun adventures to come.
And with that, the Whispering Woods became quiet, filled only with the sounds of gentle snores and rustling leaves in the night breeze.
The End.
