High on a tall green tree in a sunny orchard, a tiny apple named Ami hung quietly from a branch.

Ami was small and green, and she often looked at the big shiny apples around her.

One evening she sighed softly.

“Why am I still so small?” Ami asked the tree.

The old apple tree gently swayed in the evening breeze.

“Little one,” the tree whispered kindly, “good things take time to grow.”

But Ami still wished she could be big and bright like the other apples.

A Visit from the Friendly Bird

One morning, a cheerful little bird landed on the branch.

“Hello!” chirped the bird. “Why do you look so worried?”

“I want to be big and shiny now,” Ami said sadly.

The bird smiled.

“Every apple grows in its own time. Just enjoy the sunshine and the breeze.”

Ami thought about the bird’s words.

So she started to enjoy the warm sunshine, the cool rain, and the gentle wind.

The Apple Grows

Days passed.

The sun shined bright.

One evening she looked at her reflection in a tiny drop of rain.

“Wow!” Ami said happily. “I grew without even noticing!”

The apple tree laughed softly.

Soon a kind farmer came to the orchard and picked Ami gently.

She was placed in a basket with many other apples.

Later that day, a small child ate the sweet apple and smiled.

“That was the most delicious apple ever!” the child said happily.

And Ami felt proud.

She realized something important.

Even a small apple can bring big happiness.
